For Financial Planners & CDFAs

We work specifically with financial planners and divorce specialists to ensure equitable, cost-effective outcomes that ensure that your clients are positioned to weather life's financial challenges.

What We Do Differently

Home equity as a planning tool — reverse mortgages (HECM), standby lines of credit, and equity-based strategies for retirement income, sequence-of-returns protection, and long-term care funding.

Divorce lending — buyouts, refinances, and equity division scenarios where the mortgage has to work in lockstep with a settlement, not around it.

Why Planners Work With Me

I speak your language, not just mortgage language. Conversations about sequence-of-returns risk, tax bracket management, QDROs, and settlement timelines aren't things I need explained — they're the context I expect to be working in.

I loop you in, not around you. When I work with your client, you stay part of the conversation. My job is to execute the mortgage side of a plan you and the client have already shaped — not to redirect the client toward products that serve me instead of the plan.

I handle the technical files other loan officers hand back. Trust-held property, complex qualifying income (asset depletion, LLC rental income, business ownership), appraisal disputes, and divorce-specific documentation (QDROs, decrees, TD-1000 filings in Colorado) are where I spend most of my time — not straightforward W-2 purchases.

Where We Specialize

A client is 62+ with significant home equity and a retirement income question. Before you rule a HECM in or out, it's worth a 15-minute conversation to see whether it changes the math on Social Security timing, portfolio withdrawal sequencing, or a long-term care funding gap. A client is going through divorce and the home is part of the settlement. Whether it's a buyout, a refinance to remove a spouse from the note, or equity division tied to a QDRO timeline, the financing needs to align with the legal process — not just close as fast as possible.
